This alumni network stores the information you add to your profile: your name, graduation year, country of origin, and any optional details you choose to fill in, such as a photo, a short bio, where you live now, your field of study or work, and your availability to meet other alumni.
We also record aggregate usage, such as how often profiles are viewed or groups are joined, to understand how the network is used. The school team sees totals only, never who viewed whom.
Your profile is only visible to other YOUNITED alumni whose registration has been approved by the school. It is not visible to the public or to search engines.
Your email and phone number are private by default. Each one is shown to other alumni only if you turn it on in your profile settings. Social links you add are shown to other alumni only for the ones you choose to turn on. You can change these choices at any time.
New registrations are reviewed by the school before the profile becomes visible to others, to keep the network limited to real alumni.
If you want your profile removed, email the school and it will be taken down. We process this information on the basis of your consent when you register, in line with GDPR. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to remove your profile.
This network is for YOUNITED alumni to stay in touch. Please treat other members with respect: no harassment, spam, or impersonation. Misuse of the network, including contacting other alumni for unrelated commercial purposes, may result in your profile being removed.
